LG Smart TV | NOW TV Entertainment Pass Promotion
Terms and Conditions
1. The Promotion is promoted by LG Electronics U.K. Ltd (the “Promoter”).
2. The ‘How to Claim’ instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions. By using and/or benefitting from the NOW TV Promotion (the “Promotion”), the participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
3. The Promotion is a 6 month subscription to a NOW TV Entertainment Pass currently worth £47.94 in the UK and €90 in the Republic of Ireland (please note, prices are subject to change and are set by NOW TV). To qualify for the NOW TV Entertainment Pass, you must purchase a qualifying LG television from Argos within the Promotion Period, fill in a form to verify the purchase (by the Claim Deadline) to receive a voucher code that you can redeem at www.nowtv.com by the Redemption Deadline. Internet access is required and this promotion is only open to those aged 18 and over and on purchases made in the UK or the Republic of Ireland. Please see the full terms and conditions below. The Plan allows you to watch a range of TV shows for 6 months and at the end of 6 month period, the NOW TV Entertainment pass will renew automatically unless cancelled on the NOW TV website (www.nowtv.com or www.nowtv.com/ie).

4. Broadband/Wifi/3G/4G access is required to stream content via NOW TV (charges may apply and these are not the responsibility of the Promoter). For a list of NOW TV compatible devices, go to www.nowtv.com or www.nowtv.com/ie and see www.nowtv.com/terms for further details.
5. Participants must purchase a qualifying LG TV (“Qualifying Product”) from any Argos store or online between 08:00 on Monday 26th January 2019 and 23:59 on Saturday 28th July 2019 to be able to participate in the Promotion.
6. The following are the Qualifying Products for this Promotion: 43”, 50”, 55” and 65” UK6750.
7. To claim this Promotion following purchase, you must complete the online claim form at www.lgnowtv.co.uk and upload a copy of your full purchase receipt before the end of the Claim Deadline. Claims made after this date will not be eligible for the Promotion. Please ensure your purchase receipt includes the retailer name, the TV model number, the price paid, and the date of purchase.
8. Claims are not valid in respect of Qualifying Products that are returned to a retailer and the participant receives a full refund, in which case the Promoter will be entitled to cancel any issued codes or redeemed NOW TV Entertainment Passes.
9. The Administrator will not process a claim if the participant cannot provide a copy of the full purchase receipt (which should include the date, product purchased – including the TV model code, the price paid and Argos as the retailer).
10. You will receive the voucher code to your email address that you provided when submitting your Claim. Validation of your claim shall occur within 10 working days of a successful registration. It is your responsibility to provide accurate information to the Promoter/Administrator and should you provide any inaccurate information, the Promoter or Administrator shall not be responsible for and shall have no obligation to fulfil the claim.
11. Please note you will need access to the internet to redeem this promotion and any charges relating to this are between you and your internet service provider and are not the responsibility of the Promoter.
12. Voucher codes can be redeemed at www.nowtv.com or www.nowtv.com/ie by the Redemption Deadline - 31st August 2019. Any costs associated with accessing any website or service relating to the Promotion is the responsibility of the participant and not the Promoter. 13. This Promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion and the purchase of a Qualifying Product must be made in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
14. Only one redemption can be made per Qualifying Product purchased.
15. The Promotion is for new and existing NOW TV customers. If you are new to NOW TV, you must sign up at www.nowtv.com or www.nowtv.com/ie by providing your personal details (including email address and billing address) and registering a valid debit or credit card. You must redeem the voucher code under ‘my account’. If you are an existing NOW TV customer, you must sign in and redeem the voucher code under ‘my account’.
16. At the end of the 6 month Entertainment Pass period, the NOW TV Entertainment Pass automatically renews at its then standard price (currently £7.99/€15 a month subject to change by NOW TV), unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime under the ‘my account’ section on the NOW TV website (www.nowtv.com or www.nowtv.com/ie) and this is subject to NOW TV’s Terms and Conditions.
17. Should participants return their Qualifying Product to the retailer, the Promotion shall no longer apply and any benefit shall be lost.
18. A subscriber may cancel their subscription at any time, including before the expiry of the 6 month subscription period. Where any benefit is lost as a result of early cancellation, no refund shall be issued. This does not affect a participant’s statutory rights.
19. The redemption of the voucher code on www.nowtv.com and the use of the Entertainment Pass is subject to NOW TV’s terms and conditions. Only those aged 18 or over can sign up to use NOW TV and the voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other NOW TV offer/Combo/bundle/promotion. 20. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of registrations and participants and to disqualify any beneficiary of this Promotion who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
21. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
22. If for any reason a participant does not redeem the Promotion or an element of the Promotion by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the reward or that element of the reward will be forfeited.
23. If the Promotion is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the reward with an offer to the equal or greater value and/or specification at any time.
24. Subject to applicable law, there are no cash alternatives in whole or part. All voucher codes issued (if any) and any benefits under this Promotion are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
25. If the Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any participant in the former; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion for the latter, as appropriate.
26. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel this Promotion without incurring any liability.
27. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter (including its associated companies, officers, employees and agents) exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising to participants or otherwise under the Promotion; whether indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim or offer that is late, lost, altered or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (e) use of the reward. The Promoter (including its associated companies, officers, employees and agents) shall not be liable for any postponement, cancellation, delay, changes to the Promotion or failure to fulfil this offer where such failure is caused by any supervening event of force majeure, meaning any event(s) outside the reasonable control of the Promoter (including without limitation the act or default of any third party supplier).
28. Where applicable, any data collected during the course of the Promotion will be processed and stored wholly in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations (and the Promoter shall procure that the Administrator complies with the same). Personal data relating to fulfilment of this promotion shall be retained by the Administrator for a period of 6 months following the date the last Entertainment Pass is issued under this promotion. Where you provide any data to the Promoter, the Promoter may contact you about its products and services only with your prior consent.
29. This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Participants irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.
